In practice, I utilize evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT, while focusing on strength-based tools. My experience includes working with all ages, although I particularly enjoy working with adolescents, young-adults, and geriatric. It is my hope that I can provide a need for individuals who find themselves struggling or in need of support. As a social worker, it is my goal to be as open-minded, and inclusive as possible when providing services to individuals seeking treatment. I work hard to ensure that my practice is judgement free, and unbiased in order to for you to receive the care that you need and want.
What struggles am I most skilled at addressing as a mental health professional?
- Elizabeth treats: anxiety, depression, and trauma. She utilizes practices of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Focusing on helping individuals understand the relationship and connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. As an ally for the he LGBTQIA+ community, Elizabeth works collaboratively to provide validation and recognition, while also working to learn more on how to support and advocate for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
What populations do I work with?
Elizabeth works remotely via telehealth with adolescents (13 to 19), adults, and elderly populations.
What is my approach to healing?
Elizabeth uses evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy. Elizabeth also uses a strength-based approach, as well as tools that includes mindfulness.
