Thank you for your interest in our volunteer program! Our treasured volunteers give valuable time and expertise in a variety of ways to expand A Refuge’s quality impact on the health of the Spokane Community.
A Refuge Volunteers:
- Perform daily tasks, such as cleaning playroom equipment and stocking the waiting room beverage options, in order to enhance A Refuge client office experience.
- Collect auction items and greet attendees at community fundraising events to assist in raising awareness about Spokane’s need for accessible mental health services and how A Refuge is meeting that need.
- Share professional knowledge and skills by training staff and volunteers in important areas such as Trauma-Informed Approaches, Cultural Competence, and Community Resources.
