Who We Are at Trauma Informed Therapies

Welcome to Trauma Informed Therapies. We are so excited that you stumbled upon our page. We are a community of diverse therapists who are here for YOU. As trauma-informed therapists, our goal is to invite you to explore and engage your story in a judgment-free zone. We do not offer ourselves as experts in need of fixing you, but as witnesses who are invited to journey with you.

Knowing that addressing your personal trauma may be what compelled you to look into our practice to seek out a therapist, we can assure you we know the challenge of what it means to step into your story of harm. All of our therapists are trained to engage trauma and understand the complexities of guiding you through painful feelings that arise due to trauma responses held in your body.

Healing takes time. As therapists, it is our belief that by entering into this sacred therapeutic relationship that one finds healing. We are harmed in relationships – and we heal in relationship with another. The caring attunement of a good clinician can offer a kind of healing that we hope that you find here with us.

Our highest aim is to be an inclusive space that offers you the freedom to feel seen, heard, and witnessed. As psychotherapist Irvin Yalom says, “The act of revealing oneself fully to another and still being accepted may be the major vehicle of therapeutic help.” This work is deeply important to us and we’re so glad you found us. We hope we get the privilege of sitting with you.
