Hello everyone, my name is Bianca Corona. I am a licensed clinical social worker associate of Washington. I am a proud military wife and mother. Throughout my travels and frequent relocations of the military lifestyle, I have had the great privilege to meet individuals from all walks of life and adopt a wider perspective on the importance of promoting inclusivity and diversity. My professional background includes close to 10 years working with vulnerable populations of all ages in a variety of settings. I believe in meeting my clients where they are at and focusing on their individual needs and personal strengths to work towards a viable solution. My mission is to make a positive impact on those I serve while providing a safe and welcoming environment during their healing journey.

What struggles am I most skilled at addressing as a mental health professional?

I possess the professional skills to assist individuals coping with personal traumas, depression, anxiety, life transitions, mood disorders, adjustment challenges, stress management, addiction, family conflict, domestic violence, homelessness, emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, conflict resolution, suicidal ideations and crisis intervention.

What populations do I work with?

I am working with individuals of the ages 18 and above via telehealth only.

What is my approach to healing?

I utilize a variety of techniques and skills drawn from recognized therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Education: Master of Clinical Social Work; Bachelor of Social Work.

School: Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU); Austin Peay State University (APSU).
