Get to know me:
I have a broad range of education, beginning with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Certificate in Suicide Prevention, Treatment, and Management from Eastern Washington University in 2019 and a Bachelor of Arts in Addiction Studies from the same institution in 2021. Concurrently, I began my graduate studies at San Jose State University, where I earned a Master of Library and Information Science in 2021. I then attended Oregon State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies in 2022. Most recently, I graduated from the University of Denver with a Master of Social Work and am pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Infant and Toddler Mental Health at Portland State University. Through my educational journey, I have worked in a variety of settings, such as women’s homeless shelters, domestic violence services, schools, and public libraries. Outside of counseling, you can find me at the library, with my dogs, or napping!
What struggles am I most skilled at addressing as a mental health professional?
I have experience working with LGBTQ+ folks, depression and anxiety, and stressful life transitions.
What populations do I work with?
Lee works with adolescents (ages 13-19) and adults.
What is my approach to healing?
My approach to therapy involves coming together with my clients to create new solutions and ways of managing their lives using a person-centered and strengths-based approach. I tend to practice with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Healing can come in many different forms and it is a pleasure to be able to work alongside folks and be a part of their journey.
